Scope and limits
We distinguish kitchen-sink and bathroom-basin connections. Kitchen lines may have grease deposits; basin lines require checking connections and other obstructions. Mechanical equipment needs a suitable access point.
If water collects only in the kitchen sink or only in the washbasin, it may be a single-drain blockage. If the shower or other drains have slowed down at the same time, the shared line is assessed separately, and the starting price changes accordingly.
What we do after clearing it
After clearing the blockage, we reconnect the trap under the sink if needed and run the tap to check that the drain works. When needed, we look with a camera to see what caused the blockage.
Grease that builds up over time in kitchen drains can narrow the inside of the pipe. Clearing the blockage does not mean this grease has been removed. If the camera shows heavy grease, we show you the images and offer drain-line washing as a separate quote; the decision is yours.
A job in Dikilitaş
The kitchen sink was blocked; the floor was wet and the cabinet under the sink had swollen from the water. We cleared the drain with a drain machine, reconnected the trap hose and checked the flow. The camera showed heavy grease on the inner pipe wall, so we recommended washing the drain line. The customer was moving soon and declined; we charged only for the unblocking we had done.

A collapsed pipe, large hard object, hardened scale or obstruction in public infrastructure may resist mechanical unblocking. In such cases, the full initially agreed unblocking fee applies. We quote separately for any repair.
Tell us about two independent blocked lines during your call. If a second independent job emerges on site, we explain the additional price before starting. We may offer to credit the unblocking fee against a repair quote for that job; this is not an automatic discount.
Daytime prices apply from 06:00 to 00:00. From 00:00 to 06:00, a 50% surcharge applies to the daytime price. Daytime prices also apply during daytime hours on weekends and public holidays.
Common questions
What does the unblocking fee include?
Camera use required for the job and necessary toilet removal and refitting are included in the agreed price for that unblocking job. Repairs and separately recommended drain washing have their own prices.
Is a repeat blockage visit chargeable?
If the crew is still at the property and the original obstruction has not been fully cleared, we continue without an extra unblocking fee. A new call for a blockage after the completed work has been tested is chargeable. We do not guarantee that a line will never block again.
Will the drain block again if it is not washed?
We cannot say for certain. Heavy grease build-up can lead to another blockage later; washing can help reduce this risk, but it is not a guarantee against future blockages.
