Prepare access to kitchen and bathroom connection points
In a standard apartment, Galata Tesisat’s Beşiktaş crew inspects one kitchen and one bathroom together by checking under-sink traps, shower and floor-drain seals and visible wastewater joints. Clear inside cabinets and around exposed connections before the visit.
Mention during your call which room smells strongest and whether any renovation or hose change took place recently. This service covers wastewater plumbing odors only; it is not a gas safety check or a general indoor air investigation.
Testing wastewater joints and separate repair pricing
After visible checks, we use a mist test through a suitable entry when needed to locate the leaking joint, and we may use a camera if pipe geometry allows. If a second bathroom or third area needs checking, we agree the additional scope before starting.
The 3,000 TL daytime starting fee covers inspecting one kitchen and one bathroom together. We price parts and labor separately for repairing any loose connection, dry drain trap or damaged siphon found.
Is the smell in one area or everywhere?
If the smell is noticed only in one bathroom or only in the kitchen, we start with that area’s traps, floor drains and connections. If it is noticed in several areas at once, its link to the shared line is also assessed. What you tell us on the call helps decide where the inspection starts; our technician chooses the method on site.
Relevant fee conditions
Daytime investigation of one kitchen and one bathroom together in the same standard apartment starts at 3,000 TL. This covers investigation only. We discuss additional scope for a third area or multiple kitchens or bathrooms.
If proper inspection conditions are available but we cannot locate the escape point of an odor from the drains, we do not charge for the investigation. If we establish that the odor is not from the drains, the investigation fee applies. If access prevents completion, the full fee applies.
Daytime prices apply from 06:00 to 00:00. From 00:00 to 06:00, a 50% surcharge applies to the daytime price. Daytime prices also apply during daytime hours on weekends and public holidays.
Common questions
Which areas does the starting price cover?
The starting price covers inspecting one kitchen and one bathroom together in the same standard flat, and it covers detection only. If there is a second bathroom or a third area, we discuss the extra scope before starting.
What should I do if I smell gas?
This service is not a gas check. If you smell natural gas, call the natural gas emergency line (187).
