Scope and limits
The toilet type and outlet affect the intervention. Where necessary, we remove the toilet and work through a suitable drain entry. A foreign object or structural damage can need work beyond standard unblocking.
When calling Galata Tesisat, specify whether the blockage is in a kitchen sink, washbasin, shower, standard toilet or wall-hung toilet. Wall-hung toilets requiring removal and refitting and shared main lines have different starting prices.
The location of the blockage decides the method
Sometimes an object such as a cloth falls into a toilet, so before using any equipment we ask how the problem started. For suitable toilet blockages, RO-PUMP can be used. Depending on access, a Rothenberger drain machine or removing and refitting the toilet may be chosen instead. The right method is decided on site; the same method is not used for every job.
If only the toilet is affected, the blockage may be in the toilet’s own outlet or its drain connection. If other drains are affected too, the main line is assessed separately.
A job in Mecidiyeköy
The toilet would not drain. We asked the staff first; a cleaner said a cloth had fallen in. We removed the toilet and took out the cloth caught at the outlet bend; no breaking or drain machine was needed.

Wall-hung toilet: 4,000 TL · Necessary removal and refitting included
A collapsed pipe, large hard object, hardened scale or obstruction in public infrastructure may resist mechanical unblocking. In such cases, the full initially agreed unblocking fee applies. We quote separately for any repair.
Tell us about two independent blocked lines during your call. If a second independent job emerges on site, we explain the additional price before starting. We may offer to credit the unblocking fee against a repair quote for that job; this is not an automatic discount.
Daytime prices apply from 06:00 to 00:00. From 00:00 to 06:00, a 50% surcharge applies to the daytime price. Daytime prices also apply during daytime hours on weekends and public holidays.
Common questions
What does the unblocking fee include?
Camera use required for the job and necessary toilet removal and refitting are included in the agreed price for that unblocking job. Repairs and separately recommended drain washing have their own prices.
Is a repeat blockage visit chargeable?
If the crew is still at the property and the original obstruction has not been fully cleared, we continue without an extra unblocking fee. A new call for a blockage after the completed work has been tested is chargeable. We do not guarantee that a line will never block again.
