Five jobs, five starting points
Short summaries of jobs done by the Galata Tesisat crew. Each one started with a different symptom.
The kitchen sink was blocked. We cleared it with a drain machine; the camera showed heavy grease on the inner pipe wall. We recommended washing the drain line; the customer was moving soon and declined, so we charged only for unblocking.
The toilet would not drain. We asked the staff first; a cleaner said a cloth had fallen in. We removed the toilet and took out the cloth caught at the outlet bend; no breaking or drain machine was needed.
Water appeared between the tiles, but the dried spot did not get wet again. When the sink was filled and emptied at once, the drain connection dripped. We moved the trap hose into the correct position; no tiles were broken.
Hot and cold water ran slowly at every tap, so the problem was not one mixer. The filter passages at the water meter were clogged with sediment. After cleaning, the flow increased clearly.
Wastewater came up through the floor drain even when no drain was in use. The drain machine cable moved freely towards the inspection chamber, but the overflow continued; the chamber was completely full. We referred the customer to İSKİ, whose crews intervened.

We investigate odors suspected to come from kitchen and bathroom drain connections. After visible checks, we use a mist test through a suitable access point when needed.

Planning the visit

Common questions
Will you need access to a neighbor’s apartment?
Seeing the damage downstairs helps narrow the investigation. We cannot test an upstairs apartment’s plumbing without access. Arrange permission with the relevant residents before the visit.
Is the inspection free if no leak is found?
Finding no leak in the inspected apartment does not remove the fee. If proper conditions are available and we establish a leak but cannot locate it, there is no charge for that detection. The full fee applies if lack of access prevents completion.
